*A learning environment… Learning is not necessarily the ABC’s and 123’s, but is also the learning of values. The learning of honesty, respect, self–reliance, and potential, self-discipline, and moderation, the values of being; dependable, love, sensitivity to others, kindness, friendliness and fairness are the values of giving

*And to foster unconditional love… this kind of love is very important to me because children should not grow up feeling that in order to be loved and cared for they must meet numerous conditions but to understand that conditional is no matter what

*A safe environment and nurturing environment with warm home cooked meals

My name is Alexis Deloney, and I am currently 26 years old. I've always had a passion for working with children and being able to be a part of their growth, success, and early childhood development. I used to be a nanny for a few families for 2.5 years, and I loved it. I helped raise my younger siblings, and still am a huge part of their growth and experiences. I started this Home Childcare for my own personal reasons. I was pregnant with my first child, and all I did was research many different daycares in hopes that I would find one that not only fit our budget but gave my daughter what I would want if I am staying home with her. A loving, nurturing, safe environment that felt like a "Home away from home". Although there are some amazing childcare providers/centers out there, I still felt it was best for me to stay home for the first year to be able to breastfeed successfully and not miss those first moments with my little one. In this process, I looked into starting my own childcare and started the process. My daughter's name is Arabella, she is currently 3 years old. My daughter is not only advanced, but she is so kind hearted and loves to help out and practice these same morals with me. I came up with the name of the business by her nickname Bella. Family child care in a “home like '' setting is a great start for their early ages of learning, because not only are they getting their educational portion, but they get to learn personal values, and everyday life skills, like cleaning up after themselves, personal hygiene, cooking, etc. It provides a small secure environment for children during the most important time of their development. Family child care offers a home away from home, providing children with friends of all ages, to play, socialize, and learn from. On that note, don't hesitate to schedule a virtual tour/intake and get the process of enrolling your child started!
